The photograph of Chorlton Green can be dated as about 1900-05 since the
front of the Horse & Jockey has not yet received 'ye olde looke'. The
lamp is repositioned and it seems that even at this early date the drinking
fountain has lost its cups which hung on chains from the armson the top.
