If you walk towards Chorlton ees from the green, Bowling green pub on your left, go past Brookburn school and take the next right then walk all the way down through to a gate - it's down there. You are not meant to be able to use Mega Riders on Arriva buses although Arriva do have their own weekly pass which I think is cheaper than Stagecoach ones.

I have alway found New Star reliable for booking taxis 0161 881 1111/3304
Not that I have had much trouble with Olympic although they have been late once or twice.
New Star drivers are much nicer too!

I agree there are more cars on the road, but I know my son didn't get taught half as much about road safety at school as I did, (and I am not saying it's just up to schools to teach road safety).

In "my day"...... we had road safety drummed into heads, and the kerb drill was reinforced all the time. A healthy extreme caution of cars and the road in general

Chorlton Con Club, The Sedgelyn, The Lauriston,Spread Eagle are all cheap.
Apart from those already listed The Southern & Orlando's are fairly expensive.

I went in last night, you can not just have a drink you have to order food too so they are doing tapas for 10p!

I would say it depends on the age of your child big wooden seats which little ones would not be very pleased with!
