Spoke to a friend who is part of the cooperative called Victor Chamberlain.

He says it opens on 11th July. He also says volunteer shop workers are still required if you can help.

i hear a lot of noes in manchester despite the fact almost all of the transport links will run through the city.

NYE will have Fireworks in the city centre. It had nothing last year. The plan for a NYE event like Edinburgh or Glasgow was dropped because it was too costly. The Rangers fans didn't stop it. I have found Chorlton rubbish on NYE. I went to Jam Street Cafe last year and it was one of the worst night...
