Sarah have they got a members forums because I am with TalkTalk and they have a members forum which is a lot better than phoning them you get thing done a lot quicker because other people see your problem.

Also have you looked on this site http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ it my help to post on here too

was told off years age my the police for riding on the pavement and I was a postman..... rule 64 of the highway code says... You MUST NOT cycle on a pavement. [Laws HA 1835 sect 72 & R(S)A 1984, sect 129] now the police just let people do it, must be to much paperwork for them to stop the people...

the meadows was used as a landfill site in the early 70s

yes
you had the bus depot then Malton Ave, the house on the corner of Malton Ave I think was an estate agents then Tesco's,
it use to be a use to be a cinema.
they use to kill their chickens in the back butchers...use to get the feet to play with.....lol how times have changed

tommy johnson was a cafe in the 60s/70s myself and family use to go there, the bike shop was next door in the row of shops facing the old tesco near the bus depot I myself bought a racing bike from there around 1974/75, and yes it too was stolen for the 7 sister at brook bar, when I worked as a post...

Tesco was in Chorlton near the Bus station in the mid 70s

I worked at the Tesco store in Didsbury and on the way home helped out there.

it started at Hardy lane to Jackson's Boat along the banks of the Mersey to chorlton brook from there some fields behind Ivygreen Rd the shaded green parts are the places I know have been used as landfill, the blue they could of ..but I did't see it so can't say http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t1...

When I was growing up in Chorlton, and use to play around the meadows and along the banks of the Mersey, there use to be horse at the first location which is the road to the old sewage works. and sheep or cows at the second location. this was the late 60s early 70s All this was before the council us...
