Re: The new bar from The Parlour team is...a bit strange

Well, the beer is £4.50 so I don't think I'll be back in

Re: Manchester Diving Group open day

So, there might be a barbeque and there might be a bar. You certainly give it the hard sell.

Yes, use coach bolts and not just screws to hold the hinges and hasp. Its very difficult to remove them. I've had two failed attempted break ins on the shed over the years with this approach.

I offered to help, but they didn't even get back to me. So not very impressed with that.

Re: Reliable car mechanics Chorlton

My current favorites are the ones on Egerton Road. Often book up a few days in advance which is a good sign so will be honest if they don't think work needs doing etc Not my experience. I had a brake problem, they diagnosed a slave cylinder and charged £400 to change it. Made no difference. They sa...

Re: Stone Henge in Chorlton

It would be better to have a different type of Henge, which would give us more credibility I think. Maybe Railway Sleeper Henge or Recycled Supermaket Bag Henge.

My favourite Henge of all is Hop Henge IPA

Years ago James Brown did a sermon, although it was at the Pentcostal so it may not have suited you. Ahh, they were the days.

Re: Computer repair shop

I use cc cleaner regularly and defrag the hard drive but it's getting slower and slower. If you use WIndows, it pays to reinstall the OS every year... not only does it strip out the unnecessary garbage, but it streamlines the OS. It's time consuming but well worth it... She's right. drop me a pm if...

Re: Computer repair shop

There's the very strange compufix next to Iguana (or whatever its called this time round). Its been there for years, but if you ever go in they don't appear to have any knowledge about or interest in computers. Presumably just a front for something else. What's the problem with the computer Beaker? ...

Anyone know who owns 76 and 78 Mcr Rd (next to tesco)

There's a pair of derelict terraces between the tesco metro and Sher Akbar. They have a sign for Homeland properties, but I phoned them today and bizzarely they say they don't own them, don't know who does, and were quite rude. I wander if anyone knows who owns them?

accountant - tax planning recommendations

I'm just starting up an online business with two other people, one of whom is offshore. I'm looking for a fairly local accountant who can advise on how plan for tax, what expenses are allowable etc. One route will be to set up a company jointly owned by the three of us. Anyone work with an accountan...
