Re: The Feathers New Tesco Metro

it seems that most people on this board support the tesco takeover of the building which is a bit surprising to me. i would have preferred someone a bit more entrepreneurial to have done something with it. i like the fact that there are people in chorlton who have started up their own businesses and...

Re: Best Customer service in Chorlton?

Re: The Bastardisation of Wilbraham Road

Re: A Cyclist

that looks like a great bike but i use my gears every couple of minutes or so. i can imagine that if you were in a a higher gear you'd develop your leg muscles better and become stonger. and if you used just a low one it would be more aerobic and you'd burn more calories. but being able to drop goin...

Re: Getting your own back

i dont know whether this was a good thread to start actually. it seems it brings out the darker side of folk. i know it may have been a bit of an extreme response but at the time i thought it might have made them think that they cant just go around disregarding other people without there being some ...

Re: A Cyclist

barbican - whats yours?

barbican is taking over the pavement - what does anyone think? i think its a great idea as i sit indulging myself in croissants and coffee at least once a week and it does get a bit cramped. i dont buy cappuccinos anymore though cos its 50% throf (anag). victor says if you ask for a 'wet cappuccino'...

Getting your own back

anyone got any interesting getting your own back stories? this may mark me out as juvenile - or a nutter - but recently i was taking my kids into asda for the weekly shop. a car-load of young lads screeched into the carpark and nearly hit us on the zebra crossing. when i pulled him up, the driver go...
