Chorlton MOT Centre - anyone used them?

Hi

My girlfriends car is booked in Chorlton MOT Centre (1 Buckingham Road) - anyone had any problems or got any good reports?

I only ask because I seem to remember a "don't go to this garage" thread on here somewhere and I can't find it.

Many thanks

SW

Annie - what would you have done if you had caught up with them? I caught a kid in the act of nicking my front wheel. My only concern with these paths is that you are out of sight on them quite often and the police presence comprises of about 2 CPSOs - I see them once a fortnight yet I use the path 14 times a week. I've not had any trouble yet but I think users of the path are a muggers paradise in waiting.

T0ria - if you fancy a change - go up The Fallowfield Loop to Levenshulme, try getting off at Highfield Park. It's really nice and has a picnic area. for a nice drink go to The Bluebell on Barlow Road.

We've had a new Tesco opened in Levenshulme (old Kwiksave building). The area actually needed it. Uniquorn were interested but soon realised that Village Stores http://www.village-stores-manchester.ltd.uk/index.htm already have the market cornered.

I'll go to Lidl in Longsight to buy loads of Brain Bitter (£2.49 for 4 would you believe?), have a couple, go out in Chorlton for a mates birthday then go home and finish off a bottle of Penderyn Wisky. At work I will wear my WRU tie and cufflinks on the Friday and Monday either side (just like I di...

I think the Utd fans were taking things a bit too far by observing a 91 min silence, one would have been sufficient.

Most pubs in Chorlton are gay friendly these days. Some pubs in Levy are gay friendly was well. Anyway, do you go to a bar to drink or have sex? Didn't realise that asking whether or not a pub was gay friendly, was related to sex. Maybe it's not a cosideration that straight people aren't forced to ...
