Course I do... it's brilliant... time off work, spending time with friends and family, different telly programmes, cool food....

It's also nice to remember your lovely childhood Christmases....

Oi, I had lovely Xmases!

Mum and Dad didn't have much money, but they created magical Xmas mornings of fairy lights, decorations and treats.

The only downside was when dad came home from the pub at 2pm pi**ed as a newt and being bitter and nasty to people (he was like that when he drank...:/).... once we got him fed, installed into an armchair and asleep, we could then get on with enjoying the rest of the day...

I really enjoy Christmas but not for the shopping or religious. I like the lights, food and parties. It's exactly what we need in winter. Would prefer it in January though.

What on earth is there not to approve of?

Time with people you like (don't bother with those you don't). giving presents, having fun. Seeing old friends and the opportunity to watch, "it's a Wonderful Life" with a bucket of mulled wine and chestnuts. You have to be dead inside not to enjoy it.

Yeah, I know there's a load of religious nonsense that goes along with it but how does that make it any different from any other day of the year?
