New Tesco Decision

the place on the chorlton bulletin board for vegetable-spread related chatter and other matters...it's the first, the best and it's currently hack free.

Here's an update from the team fighting the planning permission.

For Annie's info - Just because I'm posting this item it doesn't mean I'm for or against the proposed Tesco, I'm just providing the information that has been requested. That ok Annie!!!

Hello Everyone

Just a quick message to let you know that at the Committee meeting
this afternoon Councillors voted 'minded to refuse' the application
for 84 Manchester Road.

The application will return to the December committee meeting for
further discussion. The Planning Department have to (as I understand
it) answer councillors concerns which related to traffic issues,
pedestrian safety and the impact on local shops.

Fine with me. Thanks for the info.

It's a common misconception that I prevent people voicing an opinion. To be honest, I encourage it, just as I enjoy the right to agree or disagree.

Sometimes, however, when I disagree, other people decide to insult me. Funny that.

Anyway, I digress....

"Minded to refuse"?... oh boy.

"Minded to Refuse"!!! Ho hum. Guess this means even more bureaucracy then!

Wish they'd just make up their minds....

no you don't.

other people decide to insult me

if you spoke to people in the pub etc. the way you speak to them on this board, they'd insult you too.

Funny that

no it isn't.

I love the arrogance of "it's a common misconception". As if anyone is the least bit interested.

Well if you read the board she's pretty unavoidable. If there were an option to filter out her posts I'd have selected it a very long time ago.

...so there go the insults... you see? It's like the rules of physics... you can't change them, can you?

Certain people will always resort to personal insults. Something I never do without being insulted first. Fact.

So, given that situation......

jingle, you're one of the most arrogant dickheads I've ever met. Complete waste of skin.

There's that's better... :)

And yoss, why bother reading them then?

I thought this was about Tescos until Reeves so wittily threw my name into the conversation. Pathetic.

Because of the format of this forum, it's not really possible to completely ignore your posts, annie. It's to do with the way the eye traces down a page.

If your posts were initially hidden, and I had to click on a link to read them, take my word for it, I'd never click that link.

It's not whether I like or don't like you.

This is only a little discussion board about Chorlton, and I just don't particularly care for your contributions to it. That's all really. It's not very important.

Cool....3 message about the actual subject, and 8 about me.

I should be proud, but instead I'm exasperated.
