Russell Brand stole the show, I think he's on his way to being the top stand up in the UK now

Oh I hope not.... I find him utterly irritating and unfunny.

There's only so many ego-related nob and sac jokes you can take. He's a bit of an arse, altold.

You should have seen his interview with Dawn French the other day, he's actually articulate and I think he's pretty clued up. At first he irriated me (especially that advert for his TV show), but give him another chance.

>grumble< Ok I will

I don't doubt his intelligence... it's his performance style I find difficult

Must admit I used to find Russell Brand incredibly irritating when he used to present MTV and he was still on the Skag. He used to make me want to put my boot through the telly.

However I saw him doing stand up at the Secret Policeman's Ball a few years ago and he was actually really funny. I quite like him as a stand up comedian now.

He's just another effete with minor talent who suddenly is on anything at all. He's like a rash. Another guy on the gravy train until the next big thing turns up. Mindyou, I prefer him to Terry Wogan! And as for Graham I'm a puff, bloody Norton. Well don't get me started!

Graham Norton is about as funny as being kicked in the nuts with a pair of steel toe-cap boots.

There are few people I find more irritating than him.... well except maybe Billy Connolly.....

Pete.
It's Puff as in Powder Puff

It was Puff before it changed to Poof

The magician made the elephant disappear with a Poof!

Then you have Pouffe which is something you sit on (no not an old Queen! A seat)

All this writing is making me puffed!

Go me. Joan Rivers was so funny, when she kept swearing. lol. I thought Enrique Iglesias was the best singer, he's so hot!

Controversial I know but I've never found him even remotely funny and everything about him annoys me....

Maybe my humour circuits are wired wrong or something....

Not so. I'm sure that epithet is for Eric Clapton.

Dude, same here. I just don't find him THAT funny. I was so shocked that he was No. 1 on the 100 Greatest Standups of all time. Shocker.

Whys he so funny? Tell me ONE classic moment that I should know????

Yes, I was equally baffled by the fact he was at number 1 on the list. Everyone else seems to think he's a comedy genius - I just don't get it. Give me Bill Hicks anyday over Bill Connolly.
