On Sunday 23rd June the SAA are holding their annual All Trophy Dog Show. There will be games, a second hand sale, BBQ, cakes and refreshments, and prizes for the winning dogs (and their owners).
Doors open 12-4pm, £1 entry for adults, 50p for kids. Dog show entries are £2 and entries are taken from noon.
The Society for Abandoned Animals can be found on the canal tow path, just off Dane Road (Mosley Acre Farm, Barfoot Bridge, M32 9UP). Check out their website and Facebook for more info on their work, rescuing and rehoming dogs, cats and rabbits.
Apologies for repeatedly promoting their events but the SAA is really a very worthy charity, reliant on the support of the local community to survive. And the dog show will be a lot of fun!
the place on the chorlton bulletin board for vegetable-spread related chatter and other matters...it's the first, the best and it's currently hack free.
