anyone know a dishwasher repair man (or woman?)

the place on the chorlton bulletin board for vegetable-spread related chatter and other matters...it's the first, the best and it's currently hack free.

anyone know a dishwasher repair man (or woman?)

I've been washing up by hand for about a year now and I've had enough. Time to get it fixed.

Any recommendations appreciated, thanks.

PS there's a company called All Appliance Repairs on Barlow Moor Road (near the cemetery it seems) which has a decent website, I wonder if they are any good?

Thanks for the above recommendation

The dishwasher has inexplicably decided to work after months of inactivity, maybe it just needed a rest. But when it inevitably breaks again, I'll give him/her a ring.

I think. From my experience of dishwashers, that you may have a leak. If you leave the dishwasher without running it for a while, the water in the bottom dries out and the machine starts working again. When it gets water in the bottom it cuts out again. Just saying. My leak was caused by a mouse which ate through the hose. Eventually all that was left of the hose was a mouse sized hammock in which, I assume it got it's rest after feasting off my dirty plates. I sent it to mouse heaven. The dishwasher went to dishwasher heaven, an entirely mouse free zone.

Did you ever get your dishwasher mended? Could you recommend the repairer?
