the place on the chorlton bulletin board for vegetable-spread related chatter and other matters...it's the first, the best and it's currently hack free.

BBC End of story competition

Does anyone know where the book is stocked in Chorlton?
There are clues onbbc.co.uk/endofstory but I am not good at cryptic stuff.
Or just stupid!

Chorlton Book shop should be able to order a copy for you.

I didn't think it could be as simple as that - they made out on TV that the books were 'hidden' somewhere, hence the clues, will try the bookshop though.
I did go to Chorlton the other (sunny) day, eagerly at 9 am only to be reminded that shops round here don't open when the rest of the world does. Is it a case of no shops open so no-one goes to Chorlton early, or Chorlton folk don't get up for 9 so shop-keepers don't bother opening up?

I used to work in a shop in Chorlton and we opened at nine, as did most of the shops around us. Perhaps standards are slipping.
