Difficulties in posting part two

Postby Louise » Sat Feb 21, 2004 12:11 pm

Putting this here because I couldnt reply to your message Mark. I tried doing the things you suggested. It seem that I can post a topic but not reply to one. Looks like I will just be a spectator from now on. Thats a shame as I have enjoyed being able to participate over the last five or six years. Thanks for your reply anyway.

Louise - it makes no sense that you should be able to post a message but not reply to one. Surely problems with the way AOL assign/change IP addresses should affect both equally.
I will try to sort this out.
I presume, btw, that you have tried to log in and immediately reply to a forum. If you don't respond, I'll assume that is exactly what you've tried to do 8--}

Louise - I've upgraded the board software. This MIGHT solve your problem(s).
Anyway, it's worth giving it another go...

Louise please delete cookies and temporary files from your system.

In Internet Explorer:

Tools >
Internet Options...
Then in the 'Temporary Internet Files' fieldset (in the middle) click-on 'Delete Cookies...' and 'Delete Files...'.

Now reboot your computer and see if this has made any difference.

Questions for Admin

Postby elliej » Tue Mar 02, 2004 2:00 pm

(Didn't know where to post questions)

1. I have ticked the 'automatically log me in' box but it doesn't do it. Do I need to enable cookies?

2. I sent the photos of the park via Paul, didn't realise you did both sites at the time. Would you like any others of Chorlton and if so can i send them without using netpassport?

Go to Tools > Internet Options... > Content tab > AutoComplete... button > ensure the options [Use AutoComplete for] "User names and passwords on forms" and "Prompt me to save passwords" have their checkboxes ticked.
