Multiquote Button

Postby Vicarious » Fri Feb 10, 2012 1:01 pm

Something I've seen on a few other forums. If you want to quote numerous people in one post, rather than pressing quote, then copying what they've said, going back to the thread and doing that to each post until you have every quote you want, why not just have a multiquote button, so you press multiquote on each post you want, and then press reply and they're all just there?

phpBB already supports this.

Click "Post Reply" and then scroll down to the "Topic Review" section below the reply window. You can use the "Quote" button on any/all of the posts displayed in the topic review, and the quoted text will be added to your reply at each click.

I discovered this, purely by chance on another forum between the time that Vicarious asked and digger replied.
Odd coincidence.
